I worked with Jennifer on ordering a front door handle, she was fantastic. Pleasant, helpful while offering prompt communication and great service. The whole process happened over the phone and by email, very efficient. Jennifer then organized to have François (the installer who works at the store, so convenient!) install the handle; he was also great. Punctual, meticulous, very nice. We could not have asked for a better experience after having a very bad experience with an installer we were planning on using. Choose this place, they are very easy to work with and reliable (which is not a given these days)!

Par Le Trou De La Serrure is the quincaillerie that the lady who has done the designs and management for my home renovation initially suggested. At this point, i assume i have bought thousands of dollars worth of hardware here because they are consistently selling quality quincaillerie. The gentleman we interact with most often, Manuel, is reliably polite, prompt, and professional. Although normally the designer handles all purchases with the shop, I have arrived haggard, rushed, and distracted in my renovation clothes and i am treated very well.

I never actually purchased home hardware in this store before. However, just sitting outside it on Dieu du Ciel's terrace made me more interested in hardware than I ever thought possible. I was amazed at how excited I felt by the window display. Never before had I seen doorknobs displayed in such a beautiful, sophisticated manner. All thumbs up to whoever takes credit for that merchandising. Literally, an object equated to boringness and unintelligence, transformed into a majestic piece that I must now need to purchase for my future home, if I can ever afford to own one.
