Excellent service from an incredible team. Everything from the pre-sale discussions to the after-sales support were top notch. We felt like we were in good hands for our multi-zone heat pump install and were very satisfied with the results. We spent a few weeks speaking directly to the owner to make sure the requirements were clear and the constraints of our home were well understood. He spent all the time needed to help us understand our options and the advantages/disadvantages of each approach and explain them thoroughly. All this before even signing a contract, and at no point did we feel pressure to commit. On the day of the installation, the team was very professional, protected our belongings and left the place cleaner than when they arrived. They spotted a few faults in our setup outside of their responsibility and helped us fix it. One issue required a replacement part for a minor cosmetic. They had already ordered before letting us know and came back weeks later (due to part supply issues, not a delay at their end) to install it. Would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to upgrade their systems and want to feel confident in their investment. Superb Customer Service! My wife and I hired Comfotech to install a heat pump in our condo. The company exceeded our expectations, most notably in the customer service department. What impressed us the most was the attention the owner himself gave us. He honoured his appointments, took the time we needed to explain everything, gave us a quote within days, and was very responsive to all questions throughout the process. Yes, this sounds like what a company in the customer service industry should be like, but sadly most companies we've dealt with aren't. Jeffrey, the owner, made us feel like he cared about us, not just the sale. Sadly, we feel this is a quality that is extremely rare in every aspect of service-oriented businesses. To us, this is Comfortech's value proposition. We hope this attention to customer services continues as the company grows. We understand that Comfortech only installs Panasonic machines. Based on our research, they are good machines with solid reviews. My only comment is that they require a 2.5 Ghz Wi-Fi connection to use Internet or app-based connection features. We have a 5 Ghz connection, so we can't connect. I need to set up a separate Wi-Fi connection just for the machines, which is a pain. This doesn't affect our review as such as we didn't even consider this as a feature we needed. We only found out about it after the installation when the technicians were explaining how to use the machines. If Wi-Fi connection is important to you, you may want to look into this a bit more and consider other options. Installation of the machines was done on time by competent, friendly, helpful technicians. They were more than willing to answer all our questions, no matter how basic. Jeffrey himself came on site to verify the work. The team cleaned up after themselves, though a more thorough cleaning was needed and expected due to the nature of the work. If you can't empty the rooms they will be working in, be sure to cover anything left in those rooms with plastic to make your life easier. It's been roughly 2 months since the machines were installed. We are very pleased with them. The Comfortech staff did what they said they would do on time without need of any follow-up. They were accessible, personable, knowledgeable, very helpful and open to feedback. The customer service alone is worth hiring them. In that regard we feel they are head and shoulders above any other company currently operating in Montreal. Obviously, we highly recommend Comfortech for your heat pump needs.
