If you are unsure about who to trust with your HVAC install - Trust DB Climatisation! I called the team looking for advice on upgrading from an old oil system. The system was end of life and in need of change. Yan, Éric and the whole team are just amazing to work with. Yan came by and helped me understand my current systems and the various replacement options available. We discussed the pros and cons and in the end aligned on the two best solutions for MY house - not for ANY house. All houses are different (insulation, air leaks, size, # of stories, layouts etc.) but picking a system that is optimal for YOUR house should be your priority. We decided to opt for a new high efficiency central heating system with electric furnace assist. They were easily 3-6K better priced than some other competitors and they offered me a unit that was eligible for the Hydro-Quebec Reno-Climat/Chauffez Vert Grants. They helped me coordinate with a local electrician for my panel upgrade (it was required as our panel was far too old to support the newer heating equipment). The electrician they recommended was also professional, courteous and did the job quickly (5 hrs start to finish for panel upgrade). DB climatisation arrived on time for the installation of my HVAC and were very respectful of my property and family. Éric and Kevin arrived and quickly got to work on the 2 day job. They removed my old oil system and ensured that on night 1 we had working heat. They also took their time during the installation to optimize my ducting setup to get the most air velocity I could from old heating ducts. On day 2 the tank was drained and both the tank and old furnace were removed and disposed of. By the end of day 2 the job was finished, the heat pump setup, and the thermostat installed/configured (new, shiny, and SMART!); we quickly saw the difference in heating quality. They stayed until the full system was tested, confirmed as functioning and ensured I was happy with the installation. I have had to learn about the new system and when I have a question or two, they are available by phone or email and quickly answer (less than 3 hrs in most instances). Note: I did consult with 4 other companies before settling on DB climatisation. They also offer generous financing options so there is a lesser financial burden in updating your system, but ultimately their professionalism, expertise and kindness is unmatched!
